What is Telcast: Telcast is an Over-The-Top (OTT) IPTV platform that facilitates content distribution and monetization for tv networks and content producers.

Need for Telcast: In developing markets, Content distribution and monetization poses significant challenges. In many of these countries, video content production is often neglected in favor of radio broadcasting, as it offers a reliable and cost-effective means for mass media engagement. Media companies often lack the willingness or capability to develop and maintain their own OTT platform. This can be attributed to various reasons such as limited financial resources, lack of technical expertise, or insufficient understandings of building out such a product. Our goal is to address these challenges by providing a comprehensive platform that not only comes at no cost to them but also enables substantial revenue growth.

Proof of concept: To date, there have been two apps, namely Haiti Broadcast and Haiti Streaming, which have acknowledged the issues that exsist in the media industry within developing markets. However, they have yet to present a satisfactory solution, as their focus appears to be primarily on the consumer aspect. Presently, we have secured verbal agreements with Islandtv and Nutv, encompassing operational assistance and establishing Telcast as the desired platform for their transition in the coming years.
